Welcome to Le Lien Ltd

Supplying top quality fresh seafood since 1992

Le Lien Ltd was founded in 1992 by it's Chairman Peter Stagg, with the principal objective of becoming a UK market leader in the business of importing and exporting seafood.

In its formative years, the company concentrated with great success, on the Japanese market for fresh fish. However, Japan’s economic difficulties led the company to seek out new markets. During the mid-90s, Le Lien Ltd began importing fresh fish to the UK, specialising in farmed Sea Bass and Bream from Greece. This was such a success the Company soon added other farmed products such as farmed and wild halibut and turbot, as well as other aquaculture species.

Growth and expansion continued with the addition of several long-lined wild species from all over the world: Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and South America.

Le Lien Ltd can now boast a product portfolio of over 50 lines sourced from over 35 countries – and we are very proud of the variety of unusual seafood the Company can supply.

Annual turnover is currently in excess of US$45 million and number of employees is 15, located in it's prestigious offices near London’s Gatwick Airport.

In 2008 Le Lien Ltd opened a state-of-the-art new Tuna factory in Sri Lanka under a joint venture with local Sri Lankan partners who specialise in fishing and processing.

Further developments include the expansion of a European sales division "Le Lien Europe", which now trades in Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
